Why Transparency Matters

PrintPeer requires all fabrication shops to clearly disclose key build details for every order. Honest reporting of machine models, material brands, and print parameters builds trust and helps customers reproduce results.

Mandatory Disclosures

• The make and model of each machine used during production
• The exact filament or resin brand, including material type (PLA, PETG, UV resin, etc.)
• Key print settings such as layer height, nozzle size, and curing method
• Any post-processing steps that alter the final dimensions or finish

Special Processes

For technologies like UV printing or other advanced methods, shops must specify lamp type, exposure times, and compatible substrates. Customers rely on this information to plan follow-on work and understand durability limitations.

Accuracy Enforcement

Providing false or misleading build information is a violation of our terms of service and may result in suspension or removal from the marketplace. We periodically audit orders and may request photographic evidence of equipment and materials used.
